Born on February 18th, 1953, Rickey started training with a barbell at 3 years old, he started competing in powerlifting 1963. Dale's father competed back when powerlifting was called “oddlifts.”

To us, that is something to remember, forever. As we advanced further as a community, it can be easy to forget where it all started. What it "used to be like."
